"Drunk on More than just Power"

Film: Invasion of the Saucer Men (1957)

Alias: None

Type: Alien

Location: Forest

Height/Weight: Half the size of an average human.

Affiliation: Evil

Summary: Alcohol is bad, folks. Economic importance or not, that's a fact of life. All it does is kill brain cells and generally make you a miserable wreck. No problem for the aliens with literal alcohol in their veins! Besides, there's plenty for everyone...shite.

History: Supposedly here to take over the world, some teens see them, no one believes them, and all that jazz. Not the proudest invasion.

Notable Kills: Considering almost everyone in this town is drunk, it's not surprising when some aliens proceed to mob some teens and inject him with so much alcohol that they succumb to blood poisoning. There's also a rather interesting fight between an alien and a drunk bull. Miraculously, it's a draw.

Final Fate: The military attempt to intervene, but are one-upped by the teens who shine their car lights onto the invaders, causing them to disintegrate into nothingness. Yay...drunkards win...yaayyyyy.....

Powers/Abilities: Oddly, their hands seem fully sentient with one eye on each one, and still function when unattached. The aliens also have hypodermic needles attached to their fingertips that inject an alcohol-like substance into the bloodstream.

Weakness: The Saucer-Men are nocturnal to a ludicrous extreme, unable to stand any bright light for fear of instant death.

Scariness Factor: 2-Looking like a dwarf with an overgrown head isn't going to net you any scare-points. If scare-points were even real. Cool unique powers, though.

Trivia: -This film was originally called "Invasion of the Hell Creatures" and "Spacemen Saturday Night".

-This was all based on the short story, "The Cosmic Frame" by Paul W. Fairman.

At least they have clothes on in the film.

"We ever gonna use this thing, Frank?"

"Damn Millenials."
"I...need...sleeping pills!"

Ambitious title you've got going there.

Wow. They look EVEN WORSE than in the film.

The hand unwittingly helps this teen load in some good booze.

One invader gets the worst part of a bull in its eye.
